It is amazing to me the impact that WordPress has made on the internet – it is estimated that over 40% of the internet uses WordPress as the engine that runs their website. Now WordPress turns 20! I remember using b2 before WordPress was WordPress. Blogging and site management back in those days was a messy world of CGI scripts and rebuilding your site into static pages whether that was using Movable Type or Greymatter. Now with WordPress, you can build nearly anything you can imagine. Here’s to 20 more years!
